A chef's tour of the produce market

Much of the local produce you will find on your plate comes from the countryside along the Emerald Coast. The region is well-known for its gastronomic riches, such as cabbages, carrots, onions, potatoes, artichokes, leeks… and many more besides. And to satisfy your sweet tooth, you'll enjoy Breton crêpes and galettes (buckwheat pancakes), salty toffee lollipops, Far Breton (flan), Kouign-Aman (butter cake).

 

And our Norman neighbours contribute further riches such as their famous Saltmarsh Lamb. For a sweet touch: apples and even some brandies and spirits, like Pommeau, Calvados
